Nurses find innovative idea that imitates human touch for COVID-19 patients; know how

The world is still fighting against the coronavirus pandemic by practicing social distancing and self-isolation. However, it has become impossible to extend human touch to those who are in need. But, nurses in Brazil have found a unique idea that can provide the feeling of human touch to a person.

Any guesses? Well, it’s a pair of disposable gloves.

Yes, you read that right. By using gloves, nurses are helping COVID-19 patients to provide them the feeling of touch.

There is no rocket science involved in this practice as they filled the gloves with hot water and place it on the hands of patients.

Sadiq Sameer Bhat, a journalist working with the Gulf News, shared an image on Twitter, which shows the inflated gloves were kept on the hands of a patient which helps in giving the feeling of human touch. He called the idea ‘the hand of God’.

Bhat captioned the picture, “‘The hand of God’ — nurses trying to comfort isolated patients in a Brazilian Covid isolation ward. Two disposable gloves tied, full of hot water, simulating impossible human contact. Salute to the front liners and a stark reminder of the grim situation our world is in! #MaskUp”
