Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh to expose MS Dhoni after World Cup 2019
Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket and the Indian Premier League in a media session held in Mumbai. Yuvraj said that its time to pull curtains down on his glorious career and said that he will play league cricket in different parts of the world.
Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh stirred some controversy after he said that his son became a victim of ‘dirty politics’ in Indian cricket. Yograj claimed that Yuvraj couldn’t retire from cricket while playing for India because of one man, indicating towards former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
Yograj said that many legendary cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman became victims of same dirty politics played by one individual. Yograj, however, didn’t reveal MS Dhoni’s name and said that the player is part of the Indian team playing in the World Cup and he would reveal everything after the World Cup is over.
“I don’t want to take his name but he has been playing these dirty politics from the last 15 years. He has made lives difficult for Indian cricketers. I will make this revelation after the World Cup gets over. He will remember this for life that someone said something about him. I don’t want to speak about him at this point in time because I don’t want the team to get affected during the World Cup,” Yograj was quoted as saying by CricTracker.
