Coronavirus: DMRC to remain close till March 31
As coronavirus cases are rising Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to shut their services till 31st March, as per ANI reports. Also, Noida-Greater Noida metro, city bus services have been suspended declared NMRC.
The metro services will operate for only essential internal operational maintenance activities during this duration. The security of the system will continue to be taken care of by CISF, as per DMRC.
So far in India, 332 cases have been confirmed in India among which 6 people have died while 24 cases have been recovered.
Meanwhile, today citizens are observing Janata Curfew from 7 am to 9 pm to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. Whereas 75 districts have been lockdown across the nation, these districts are either reported confirm cases or casualties relation to the novel coronavirus.
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has also announced Section 144 in the state to prevent the spread of the virus as a state has reported a maximum number of cases. The cases have reached 74 in the state with 10 new cases detected till Sunday morning, among which 2 have died so far.
All major cities in the state like Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Amravati are almost closed down.
