US coronavirus shocker: Guard refuses entry to girl not wearing mask, her parents come back to kill
In a shocking incident in the US, a family has allegedly murdered a shop guard because he was enforcing mask policy amid coronavirus spread before allowing entry into the shop.
A woman, her husband and son have been charged with killing a security guard who refused entry to the girl because she was not wearing a face covering.
Calvin Munerlyn, 43, was shot in the back of the head on Friday at the Family Dollar store in Flint, Michigan, one of the US states hardest hit by the COVID 19 pandemic, reports BBC.
According to reports, the accused--woman, her husband, son--went to the store after the girl was denied entry and allegedly killed the guard.
He was attacked after telling 45-year-old Sharmel Teague's daughter she could not come into the shop without a state-mandated mask.
All three face first-degree premeditated murder and firearms charges.
It was the son who allegedly pulled the trigger. The girl has not been charged.
"The death of Calvin Munerlyn is senseless and tragic, and those responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law", The prosecutor told reporters.
The victim's mother told the Associated Press news agency: "All my baby was doing was his job."
