Burari death case: Getting salvation was the reason behind the mass suicide in north Delhi?
The major and shocking development in the death case of the 11 family members found dead in north Delhi’s Burari has given the new angle to the whole case is that ‘salvation’. As per the reports, a handwritten note of registers have been found from the crime scene which has given the new direction to the investigation of this terrible case.
Reportedly, the notes in register talked about the strange beliefs of the family that they were having the blind faith in the black magic.
However, Police is doing the investigation into the matter but the notes in the register have brought a new turn in the case.
According to the Police, they initially thought that it was a suicide and then said it could be a mass murder by one of the family member, who then committed suicide.
Out of the 11 people found dead in Delhi’s house – two men, six women and two teens have been found hanging in one room of the house. While the 77-year-old woman, Narayan Devi was found dead in another room which gave the hint that she was strangled.
However, the 10 dead bodies were found hanging and the faces of their bodies were bandaged across the eyes and mouth.
According to the reports of Press Trust of India, one of the note reads that ‘the human body is temporary and one can overcome fear by covering their eyes and mouth.’
However, the police is investigating the case from all possible angles, Joint Commissioner of Police, Delhi, told ANI.
At initial investigation stage, the Delhi police suspected that a case was of mass suicide based TimesNow reported.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari visited the Burari's crime spot later in the day.
