PM Modi's mega rally: Unity in diversity is India's specialty, says Prime Minister
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is addressing a 'mega' at Delhi' Ramlila Maidan raised the slogan of 'vividhta me ekta, Bharat ki visheshta' (Unity in diversity is India's specialty) on Sunday.
The PM, who arrived at the Delhi ground at around 1.20 PM is addressing the rally with the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.
Addressing the rally, PM Modi hit out at Delhi's AAP govt and said, " the govt gave over 2,000 bungalows in posh Delhi locations to 'VIPs' close to it in an illegal manner."
"You should know what those people, whom you were asking for something for yourself, were doing. They had illegally given 2000 lavish bungalows to their people. No one knows what was given to whom in lieu of that, " he added.
This apart, PM Modi also blamed Kejriwal-led govt for delaying the beginning of four metro stations.
"Had the Delhi govt not politicized the phase 4 project of Delhi metro, its work would have started much earlier. That is why I say that those who do politics in your name, never understood your pain, they never intended to do that," Modi maid.
"You should know what those people, whom you were asking for something for yourself, were doing. They had illegally given 2000 lavish bungalows to their people. No one knows what was given to whom in lieu of that, " PM Modi said on unauthorized colonies in Delhi.
