Big rocks came rolling down from the hill and the noise alerted the tourists staying in a hotel, situated just adjacent to the base of the hill. Within seconds, it turned into a nightmare - big stones flying and coming down with speed and force, raising dust storms and creating a deafening noise of death. Stones reportedly damaged a traveller too, killing 9 of the 12 tourists seated inside. This sad accident happened near Badseri village, Kinnaur, in Himachal Pradesh.

The flying big stones came down the road nearby where the deadly accident took place. In the video, a big stone can be seen falling on the bridge with such immense force that the bridge immediately breaks into two parts and comes crashing down on the river.

The tourists filming the catastrophe soon realised that stones could hit them too. One tourist in the video can be heard saying ' stones are landing inside the hotel building too'.
Another voice in the video says: "Bande mar gai yaar (People have died friend)". He goes on to explain it further but the voice is not clear because of the heavy noise of the landslide and the voices of the people.
