65th National Film Awards 2018: Here's why Late Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor got confused after she won the award for 'Mom'

The 65th National Film Awards have been announced on 13 April 2018. Many famous film celebrities have got the National Awards for various categories. Amid of this, late veteran actress Sridevi was also awarded the Best Actress Award for her film, Mom.

Well, this would be the auspicious moment for Sridevi, if she is with us. However, Mom was the last film of Sridevi. Sridevi's family has also released the statement to thank the jury members for giving the award to the late actress.

Here's what Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor said:

We are overjoyed to know that the Jury has conferred the Best Actor Award to Sridevi for her performance in ‘MOM’. It’s a very special moment for all of us. She was always a perfectionist and it showed in all the 300 plus films she did. She was not just a Super Actor but a Super Wife and a Super Mom. Its time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on.

We thank the Government of India, the Hon’ble Jury Members for this honor. We also take this opportunity to thank all our friends, her fans who have been sending us congratulatory messages.

As soon as Sridevi's family released the statement, immediately it went viral over the social media. Her husband also mentioned that she was not only a super actor but a super wife and super mom too. Boney also said that her legacy will continue to inspire us.
