NCB summons comedian Bharti Singh, husband after conducting raid at their residence

The Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday summoned Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa hours after raiding their Mumbai residence, ANI reported.

This is the latest in a series of raids conducted at residences of big names linked with Bollywood. Arjun Rampal and producer Firoz Nadiadwala were also raided by the NCB earlier this month in connection with a drugs investigation.

The drug agency launched a probe into the consumption and possession of drugs by people in the film industry after it received official communication from the Enforcement Directorate, in which there were various chats linked to drug usage and transportation in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Rhea Chakraborty, was arrested on 9th September and subsequently released on bail by the probe agency after she spent nearly a month in jail on charges of procuring drugs.
