Sridevi and Salman Khan to work together soon. But it's not what you think

Bollywood has been waiting for Sridevi to announce her next Hindi project, after her commercially and critically-acclaimed comeback, the 2012 film English Vinglish.

If the latest reports are anything to go by, the veteran actress will be seen in a Salman Khan film soon. Hold on. The two will not be paired opposite each other. Sridevi will reportedly essay the role of a mother in a film produced by Salman Khan.

The actress is also gearing up for her husband, Boney Kapoor's next project, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Sridevi will play the lead in the film.

Salman and Sridevi have previously worked together in films like Chandramukhi (1993) and Chaand Ka Tukda (1994).
