This year IPL is witnessing several records of the player, now, another record has created by the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma. Yes, Rohit has become the first Indian cricketer to score 300 sixes in all T20s. He created this record after hitting the sixer on the KXIP player Mujeeb Ur Rahman bowl in 17th over. Rohit again hit the another six in the same over.
Because of MI skipper sixes, his team could able to chase 175 runs target. Rohit has joined the highest sixes record club with these players- Chris Gayle (842), Kieron Pollard (525), Brendon McCullum (445), Dwayne Smith (367), Shane Watson (357) and David Warner (319).
Rohit’s men-in-blue team easily chased the target and ‘Hit-man’ six becomes the cherry on the cake. Rohit remains unbeaten during the match as he scored 24 runs in 15 balls. However, this was the third victory of MI out of the nine matches played in the Indian Premier League.
Among the Indian cricketer, Suresh Raina also the second one, who had strike the 290 sixes.
Talking about the KXIP player Chris Gayle, who has scored 252 runs in 4 matches and now reached 300 runs after scoring 50 runs in 40 deliveries.
