Australian captain Steve Smith who stepped down from his role has confessed his mistakes in a press conference where he got emotional. His emotional video is doing the rounds on the internet. The whole cricket world and fans have shown their disappointment on what Steve Smith and David Warner did. But there are some people who came in support to Steve Smith from Bollywood i.e. Varun Dhawan.
Yes, ‘October’ actor took to social media to show his expression after watching Steve Smith crying on national television. On the other hand, Indian cricketers and fans wanted that they should be punished for what not honouring the rules and regulations of the game.
Before Varun Dhawan, Indian cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and also international players like Shoaib Akhtar, Shane Warne and Kevin Pietersen also have come out to show their sympathy with the players.
Know what they wrote for the tearful player Steve Smith:
While cricket needs to be corruption-free but feel sanctions on Aussies bit harsh. Are @stevesmith49 & @davidwarner31 paying for revolt for pay hike? History has it administrators deride those who standup for players’ cause. Classic case: Ian Chappell #BallTampering #StevenSmith

Hope in time I can earn forgiveness says Steve Smith.

He has already got mine.
Cricketers have done worse & never admitted their guilt.#StevenSmith
They are regretting and hurting and will have to live with the consequences of their act. Spare a thought for their families as they have much to endure along with the players. Time for all of us to take a step back and give them some space.

leave that poor chap alone now ..
‘Good people make mistakes’ .. I honestly think Steve Smith & Cam Bancroft are decent guys who had a moment of madness .. they deserve a 2nd chance and hopefully get the right support around them now .. Takes a lot guts to do what they did today ..

Well, the Judwaa 2 actor wrote on his Twitter handle about the Australian player who has been banned for one year by the Cricket Australia over ball-tampering: ‘Watching Steven Smith apologise and look broken is very sad. I'm sure the fans will forgive him. He looks beyond remorseful. I hope and pray he will come out of this ordeal a better cricketer. The mental the emotional trauma I'm sure is bigger than any ban.’
