SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018: Online registration process for SSC GD constable in CAPFs and other posts likely to start today; here’s how to apply

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to re-start online registration process for SSC GD constable for the various posts from today onward. Therefore, candidates who were left in applying for the recruitment drive by SSC then they can check the official website today.

Earlier, the online registration process for the SSC GD constable got delay due to the heavy traffic on the official website of SSC.


According to the reports, SSC will be going to start the online registration process for SSC GD Constable in CAPFs, SSF, NIA and Rifleman (GD) on 17th August 2018.

"The candidates who have already registered on the new website are assured that their details are secure with the commission and that they will not be required to register again.’

Here’s how to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2018:

1. Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
2. Click on the ‘Apply’ button
3. Submit all your details asked on the official page
4. Click on Submit
5. Your registration will be done.
6. Keep your registration id and password for further use

The registration process that will again to start for the SSC GD Constable is being held to fill 54,953 posts (tentative).

  • Males: 47,307
  • Females: 7,646

Application Fees:

The application fees for General/OBC category candidates is Rs 100. However, candidates from the other reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee.
