UP: 5 unidentified people loot petrol pump owned by BJP MP in Pokhri Barhat

Five unidentified assailants plundered Rs 50,000 cash from a petrol pump belonging to a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

The occurrrence took place approximately at 7:30 pm on Tuesday at RK Singh Patel’s petrol station at Pokhri Barhat, SHO, Raipura, Ramesh Chandra stated.


According to the police, there were five people who got the petrol tanks of their motor cycle filled and then looted the money (Rs 50,000).

The assailants were chased by the locals present in the area. Two of whom fell from their motorcycle but managed to run away.

A First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against five unidentified assailants based on the statement given by the petrol station manager.

Police are investigating the matter, And no arrest have been made in this connection thus far.
