
Two people were injured after a chartered air ambulance made an emergency crash landing in the Najafgarh area of South West Delhi on 24 May.
The two injured have been taken to the Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital.
The aircraft landed 6.0 nautical miles short of IGI airport. Pilot reported failure of both engines. All seven on board are safe: Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
DGCA has also started a probe in the crash landing incident.
According to initial reports, the air ambulance - which was flying from Patna to Delhi - crashed due to engine failure. Seven people were reportedly on board the aircraft, which belongs to Alchemist Airways.
Fire tenders and disaster management team have already been rushed to the spot.
The exact nature of the crash landing of air ambulance has not been ascertained yet.
The C-90 aircraft belly-landed on a field in Najafgarh in the South West part of the capital, which is not far from a residential colony. The pilot reported engine failure just before landing.
