Pintu Singh, a CRPF personnel who was martyred during an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir belonged to Begusarai in Bihar and his mortal remains was brought to Patna airport at 08:30 am on Sunday. Thereafter, CM Nitish Kumar went to airport accompanied by several ministers to receive PM Narendra Modi for a huge Sankalp rally after around 3 hours.
Pintu Singh’s father Chakradhar Singh stated the ordeal, “Ministers are only concerned about remaining in power. It shows how concerned they are about the soldiers. NDA leaders were more concern about Sankalp rally of (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi. They have neglected to pay homage to a brave soldier who was killed for the country.”
The Opposition has attacked BJP and PM Modi for politicising the army and and the sacrifices of the armed forces post Pulwama blast.
