Is Prabhas emerging as the highest-paid actor of India after the blockbuster Saaho?

Recently, there was the buzz that Prabhas who has emerged as the superstar after Saaho's success has not been paid well for the film. It was told that Saaho was supposed to do great at the box office and critics but due to lack of criticism Prabhas has not been paid well. However, now a close source told that it is just a baseless rumour and Prabhas has got what he was expecting and even he got something that will make him the highest-paid actor.

Koimoi quoted a close source, "Prabhas has marked a big success with Saaho in his career where the returns to him have also been much beyond what was foreseen. With a budget like that and box office numbers on a high with each passing day, one can only imagine what Prabhas has gotten as his performance fee. Probably, he is now also the top paid actor of the industry”.

Interestingly, the digital, satellite, and music rights of Saaho were sold in a whopping amount of 130 crores. Prabhas even told that he had to cut his fees by 20 per cent after seeing the budget of the film going ahead what they expected.
