After Sridevi's sudden demise, Karan Johar's Siddhat finally got shelved

Bollywood's first female superstar Sridevi sudden demise has shocked everyone in the industry and outside the industry. The veteran actress gave her last shot for filmmaker Aanand L Rai's film Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. However, according to the current reports, this sudden demise has affected her close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar a lot.

According to the reports, Karan Johar has called off his most ambitious and upcoming project Shiddat in which Sridevi was supposed to star in a leading role. Now it is being told that once again Shiddat has been shelved for no time.

 

Sridevi demise

One media reports have suggested, Shiddat was supposed to star Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles and it was supposed to directed by Abhishek Varman. Abhishek Varman had directed film 2 States under Dharma Productions. It was going to be a great comeback of Sridevi in Dharma Productions after 24 years and that too with the same star Sanjay Dutt after Gumraah.

Karan Johar - Dhadak

Karan Johar always has believed to be very close to Anil Kapoor's family and even he is giving chance to Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor to make debut in Bollywood films through his production film Dhadak starring alongside Ishaan Khattar. Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame director Shashank Khaitan is directing this film.

The film that is a remake of Marathi blockbuster film Sairat is going to hit the screens on 20th July 2018.
