Chhapaak actress Deepika Padukone who recently broke her silence on CAA protest and JNU violence has joined the students and the teachers after the aftermath that took place on Sunday evening. The actress has reached the JNU campus to stand by them and to express solidarity.
In the video posted by ANI, we can see the actress meeting president of the JNU Students Union Aishe Ghosh who was attacked by the mask people brutally. She can be seen standing next to her while Jai Hind songs are being chanted. The actress who was in Delhi to promote her film made sure to stand by the sides of the JNU students.

This brave action by the actress grabbed eyeballs of the industry including Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhasker, Gauahar Khan, among others. They all are lauding the actress for her stand, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha tweeted, “Women are stronger than men.”
