The legend cricketer Virender Sehwag is all set to return to field one more time. If the reports are right then according to IPL team Kings XI Punjab tweeted on Sunday that the batting legend Virender Sehwag will be back in action in their first IPL 2018 match against Delhi Daredevils at Mohali on April 8.

Kings XI Punjab tweeted, BREAKING NEWS:
You're in for a real treat. @virendersehwag will take the field in Vivo @IPL once again, replacing @AaronFinch5 for the season opener. It's deja vu all over again.

The tweet said that Sehwag will come out of his retirement and will play as an opener for KXIP replacing Aaron Finch in their first IPL 2018 match at Mohali on April 8 against Delhi Daredevils.

According to report, the decision was taken at the team preparatory camp in Mohali after a long deliberation by captain Ravichandran Ashwin, coach Brad Hodge, and the team management. In the discussion, Sehwag, who is also the Director of the Cricket Operations, was also present.

At the recent Ice Cricket matches in St Moritz, Virendra Sehwag was last seen batting. He scored 62 off 31 in the first match and 46 off 22 balls in the second match there.

Kings XI Punjab's Yuvraj Singh was the first to comment saying 'he was looking forward to seeing Virender Sehwag play again'.

However, It is 1st April, the April Fool's Day, the tweeted has met with appropriate scepticism from fans. Many fans quickly commented on the tweet as it was April Fool Joke by the IPL franchise, side KXIP.
