Amid the Dharam Sabha being conducted in Ayodhya, Union Minster Uma Bharti has said that the BJP doesn’t hold a patent or copyright over the Ram Mandir and others need to come up to support the cause.
Uma Bharti, who had earlier stated that a Ram Mandir is her “dream” as she had actively participated in the movement of “Ram Janambhoomi Anolan” which happened in he 1990’s and ended in December 1992, with the demolition of Babri Mosque in Ayodhya.
Senior BJP leader and minister Uma Bharti, when asked about Shiv Sena and Uddhav Thackeray’s effort and hijacking the movement, said that “Yes, I appreciate Uddhav Thackeray for his effort. BJP doesn't have a patent on Ram Mandir, Lord Ram is for all.”
Bharti had earlier told ANI that “I have actively participated in Ram Janambhoomi Andolan. Hearing of a case is also underway in connection with it, on me and LK Advani Ji, and I am proud of it. The construction of Ram Temple is my dream and whatever initiative is required from my end I am ready for it.”
In the Dharam Sabha, being organized by the RSS and the VHP, along with more than 2 lakh workers, have demanded the construction of Ram Mandir as sson as possible and the VHP held that they are not ready to divide the land with anyone and only Ram Mandir will be constructed at the proposed site.
Uma Bharti has also said that, “I appeal to everyone including SP, BSP, Akali Dal, Owaisi, Azam Khan etc to come forward and support the construction of the temple.”
